Flylar: New Beginnings

With Eric gone and the kids getting older it was time for a change. I bought the house next door to ours as it has more room for all of us including all the kids friends that were coming over to our house.

After Eric's death I had really let myself go so it was time to get into shape again. I've always loved Yoga but I just don't have the time to go to any classes so I got a few video's to help me get back into it.

It was also time to get on with fulfilling my life time goal of Becoming the Law. I found a posting for a job in a law office. Not great pay but a good start for me.

My little boy Ethan is getting older, he is now a child and will be joining his sister at Chantilly Public School. He's become quite the little helper around the house and with his brother.

Ethan is wonderful with Evan, always playing with him and teaching him nursery rhymes. Ella will sometime join in but she's a very independent little girl.

Ella and Ethan still do get along quite well. When their not complaining about the other I often find them playing together. The play many different games. Red hands... Cops and Robbers.

Though Ella often plays on her own she does have a few friends at school. Dylan Becker is often over playing with Ella. I think Ella likes to hang out with her because she's a few years younger and is more willing to go along with Ella's suggestions.

Dylan's sister Darcy Becker also comes around a lot but she seems to spend more time with Ethan. Sometimes I do have to question their judgment of where to play catch but in this neighborhood people are used to kids running and playing in the streets.

More birthdays have come. My little Ella is now a teenager, I have no idea what mischief she's going to get into.

My youngest is now a child. All three of them are getting so big. Evan is really looking forward to going to school and getting homework.

The boys get along great, there always playing at something. I'm not sure who's idea the pillow fights where but they seem to be the favorite.

What a handful I have with Ella. Eric was right when she grew into a child, boys beware.
Ella is more the bully at school than the boys, but they don't seem to mind.

Ella defiantly is a Romance Sim. After picking on the boys she's then kissing them. I've tried talking to her about it but she just giggles and walks away with a glint in her eye.

Now I have two teens in the house. Thank god Ethan isn't like his sister.

Now that I have a little more money from my job I figured I could afford to send the kids to Chantilly Academy. We had the principal over for dinner and by the end of the evening he had accepted all three of them into his school.

One of Eric's favorite pastimes was gardening. It seems that Ella has taken on that hobby. I've told her I'll buy her anything for the garden. If she spends more time planting things than with boy's it will make my heart a little easier.

Not all Ella's friends are boys, thank goodness. Tina and Ella spend their time playing chess and dancing. I'm sure there is much discussion of boys but they are teenage girls.

One last birthday. Evan has also joined the ranks of Teenager. He's the least fit of all three of my kids but he's also the brightest.

A big change here at our house, Ella has gone off to university. My little girl is all grown up, Eric would have been so proud. It's going to be a lot more quiet around here.

What an exhausting week it's been. My day off and I fall asleep in my cereal after the kids have gone to school. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Nooo! Not romance! Poor mother...

(But at least she had a decent life goal that does not require her to break hearts and marriages!)
