May 2015 : University

May 2015:  Kea Kai, Colin PItts, Penny McArthur, Stewart Newson, Ira  and Gabriella Gorey are 18.  They are in the second semester of their freshman year




The girls all share an English Lit class and set aside at least one night a week for a group study session.





Kea is determined to make the deans list and stay there.  She spends a lot of time studying on her own.





Ira tries to be studious but sometimes it’s just too difficult.





Colin doesn't try very hard at making the deans list.  He would rather spend his time playing video games.






Penny has cut back on all the different guys she has been dating but often goes out with clay thought they are not a serious couple.





Penny has been spending a lot of time trying to figure out what she does want with her personal life.  She isn't really getting very far. 




When it comes to her school/professional life Penny is very clear on what she wants.  She spends much of her spare time practicing  everything she has learned in her dance classes.  She knows that at the end of her 4 years at Sim State there are only a few of the dancers that are offered a position in professional dance companies.





As she spends most of her time at the dance studio Penny often get’s the girls to come and meet here there for lunch.  Other than their study groups it’s the only real time she gets to spend with her friends.




Gabriella had put on a few pounds in her first semester so she tried to spend a few days a week at the gym. 




Between classes and studying Ira and Gabriella tried to get time together but it wasn’t always easy and rarely alone. 

They did tend to spend every night together.

Stewart was trying to keep his mind off of Penny and hang out with other people at the dorm.



 
The boys tried to make one night a week boys night and they often went downtown to play poker.  The boys hoped that this would lift Stewart's spirits.




Even the pizza delivery girl tried to cheer Stewart up (she probably had the most success).

November 2014: University

The new Freshman are all living in Delaware Hall at the downtown campus. Stewart and Colin are Political Science majors.  Penny is enrolled in the dance program and Gabriella is in the Fashion Design program.  Gabriella's boyfriend Ira (a Biology major) and Colin's girlfriend Kea (History major) have also joined them in Delaware Hall.

At the beginning of the term they established a regular Wednesday night study group even though they are mostly all in different programs.  They find it good incentive to study if someone around them is also studying.

They also have a regular night out every weekend.  The often head to the on campus bar The Pitt for drinks, karaoke and a game of pool.  Really only Penny and Colin where into the Karaoke.

The only ones up early in the morning where Penny, Ira and Gabriella.  They often had breakfast together before heading out to their morning classes

Colin and kea where enjoying all the time they where now able to spend together.

After their mid-terms Colin and Kea found time to go to the Crab Shack in Chantilly Beach.  They didn't splurge on their meal but it was a nice day out.

Gabriella and Ira are also taking advantage of living in the same dorm.

Gabriella also managed to get a second hand sewing machine so she could spend more time working on her projects. 

Stewart tried to get Ira to tell him his secret when it came to love.  Stewart just didn't understand what was going on with Penny.

When they had first moved into the dorm Penny and Stewart had spent a lot of time together.  Stewart thought they where becoming a couple even though they hadn't talked about being exclusive.

Then a little while later Stewart found that Penny was spending time with  a few other guys.

Even when Penny was just having lunch with a guy Stewart go jealous.

Stewart found himself spending more and more evenings watching sports or movies rather than telling Penny how he felt.

April 2014: University

Spring 2014:  Frederick Becker is 22.  Anthony Upsnott, Madison Mather, Brandon Becker, Tamara Newson and Diana Lind are 21.  Jacob Flylar is 20.

Diana is in her last semester and Jacob is finishing up his Junior year.  Both are working towards a Culinary Arts degree.

Diana is determined to do well, it could mean the difference between working in a diner and working at a great restaurant.

Diana often makes breakfast for the dorm before the cafeteria staff arrives.  Any chance to cook for others

Diana takes.

Jacob is more focused on his fitness level.  With all the cooking he does he also does a lot of eating.

Poker is always a popular late night procrastination tool in the dorm.

 Diana is still playing the field, she ins't ready to settle for just one man yet.

Frederick is trying his best to change Diana's mind and give him a second chance.

 Jacob spends what ever time he can with Tamara, not as much as he would like as they live on different campuses.  They plan on changing that when Tamara graduates at the end of this semester.

Brandon and Tamara rented a two bedroom apartment on campus for their last year.  Many of their conversations revolve around Brandon and Loren's relationship.  Even when they have a professor over for dinner.

 For a few weeks their newspaper was being stolen, finally Brandon figured out who it was.

Brandon finally got Loren to talk and he apologized for his over reaction to her pregnancy.

Things aren't perfect with Loren but they are back on track.

With things more settled with Loren, Brandon was able to focus more on his upcoming final exams.

Anthony and Madison are enjoying having a little house to themselves for their last year or university.  No need to get dressed for breakfast.....

... or to study.

and plenty of time for just the two of them.

Just before final exams started Anthony and Madison hosted a party for their friends.

Spring Break 2013

Spring 2013: Miriam Nova, Justin Flylar, Loren Becker, Frederick Becker Addison Becker, Hannah Becker, Henry Pitts and Meadow Thayer are 21. Anthony Upsnott, Madison Mather, Brandon Becker, Tamara Newson and Diana Lind are 20. Jacob Flylar is 19.

As it was their last year for many of the University students from Chantilly they decided to go away for spring Break. The hotel they was over booked when they arrived so some of them had to go to anther hotel down the street, not quite as nice but no extra cost. It wasn't like they where going to be spending much time in the hotel anyway.

Not everyone wanted to go and see the ruins so the gang that did rushed off as soon as they got to the island, only Meadow had had the forsight to change into summer clothes at the airport before they got on the shuttle. Henry was particullarly uncomfortable in he shirt and trousers.

Meadow found herself alone at the fountain. She may have been alone but she was very peaceful and decided to make an offering. Everything with Henry had been going so well the past year and she wanted it to stay that way.

The others stayed back at their hotel to relax.

Frederick and Diana had a long heart to heart and decide they wanted to try and repair their relationship but they where not going to do anything serious until Diana finished school in another year.

Only the first drink at the hotel was free and Henry took advantage of that when they got back from the ancient ruins.

Drinks were not a problem, Madison had found a store that sold beer while the others were at the ruins. There was lots to drink in their hotel room.

Most of the week was spent on the beach with all of the other University students that had come down for spring break.

Again there was plenty of beer to be had on the beach.

Henry found the fire pit and lit a campfire, similar to the time they had all spent on the beach at the end of High School

The gang spent a lot of the evening/night talking around the campfire and about how different things would be next year.
