Last Week Of Summer

With summer coming to a close the teens thought it was time for a day at the beach. Addison hadn't seem Justin since the bus ride home from camp.

When Justin came up to Addison that afternoon she was expecting him to yell but he was friendly and told her that if she and Hannah wanted to make a go of it then they should. What he didn't tell her was what he had spend the last few days doing.

Justin and Miriam had been spending a lot of time together and had become quite close.

The group spend the day and evening just hanging out at the beach. The next night was to be their prom. It had to be postponed due to the banquet hall not being ready in time.

Hannah brought her brother Brandon to Prom as she wasn't quite ready to tell her parents about Addison, though she suspected they knew something was up.

The usually couple's where on the dance floor for the slow dance. Addison and Hannah made their debut as a couple, not that it was much of a surprise to anyone. Off in the background there was another couple that no one had known about.

Loren and Brandon had been spending a lot of time the past few days together. They hadn't told anyone as they didn't know where it was going what with Loren off to Sim State in a few days.

The two new love birds did manage to spend a little time together outside the banquet hall at the gazebo, they didn't think anyone had noticed them sneak away.

2009 Summer Camp

The group that went to Summer Camp where Addison Becker, Justin Flylar, Hannah and Brandon Becker, Frederick Pitts, Tamara Newson, Anthony Upsnott and Madison Mather. The moment they arrived they all claimed their tents and started their relaxing. The boys all headed for the lake to fish and the girls just hung around talking.

Hannah and Addison where deep in discussion, Hannah was trying very hard not to think of the kiss that she and Addison had shared not that many days before. She wasn't sure what to think about it. She was dating Justin, the where going steady though it didn't really seem like it was all that serious but she had never thought about dating girls before. Hannah was really confused.

Most of the group headed off to bed but a few of them stayed up late around the campfire telling ghost stories.

The next morning everyone headed to the gill for flap jacks. They had all heard that they where to die for.

That morning Mr. Connor was teaching the kids how to throw an axe, this is why it's a High School trip and not one for the younger kids.

Tamara was the only one that seemed to focus on the bullseye. As usuall Anthonoy and Madison only had eyes for eachother and Hannah kept looking over at Addison and loosing all concentration.

No one was really too sure about what caused the fight but later that evening Tamara and Madison really got into it. Most of the kids saw it happen but pretended not to notice.

The next morning no one spoke at breakfast they just dug right into the flap jacks.

Mr. Connor took Tamara and Madison aside to have a chat with them. He managed to get the two of them talking about the school soccer team which they both where a part of. The argument from the night before was soon forgotten over plans for the up coming soccer season.

Hannah decided to take a chance and see what it felt like to kiss Addison back. She fet more nervous than ever before but also more excited. Unfortunatley sneaking to the washrooms didn't help, Justin walked in and saw the two of them. He just stood there and sared for the longest time.

I managed to lose the photo of Justin slaping Hannah for cheating.

Justin left the girls to go and let off a litte steam by throwing axes. Frederick came over to join him, he had heard the argument just before between Justin and Hannah. He figured Justin might need a friend.

Later that evening Addison started asking Madison and Anthony when they knew they where in love, and how did they know. Hannah was very quiet during this conversation. She couldn't believe what she had just done. She never meant to cheat or hurt Justin but for some reason she just couldn't regret what had happened between her and Addison.

Early the next morning it was time for the long drive back to Chantilly and the last few days of summer.

Family Life

David: Now that I have made Media Mogule I try to spend a little time each night working on my editorials.

When I'm not on the computer Gabriella is right there waiting to play her games.

I worry sometimes that the kids plot against their Nanny. They always have a glint in their eye when I come home from work but the Nanny never say's anything.

Gabriella and Jessie are always playing cops and robbers. They can spend all day running around the yard playing together.

Allegra was thrilled when Nicholas' fist word was Mama. She was glowing for days.

Jessie is trying to teach Nicholas how to eat without making a mess. I'm not really sure how well that's going.

I stayed home with Nicholas while Allegra took the kids to the playground for the afternoon. They love to go to the playground.

Allegra is getting really big with our fourth, I never thought I would have four kids but I'm really looking forward to this growing family of mine.

I can't believe it, Gabriella is a teenager now.

Although Tamara Newson is 3 years older than Gabriella they do spend a lot of time together.

Gabriella has been very good with her brothers, she helps take care of Nicholas and still plays games with Jessie.

Everynight before she goes to bed Gabriella goes and checks on Nicholas and tucks him in.

The day of Nicholas's birthday Gabriella made lunch for everyone, to start with a salad and then spaghetti.

My baby boy will be going to school in the fall, I guess it's a good thing that he will be more self sufficient when our next little on comes around.

Being a Family

Catherine: With the wedding plans well underway I figured I should find a dress. There was a new bridal shop in the Chantilly Beach area so Allegra and headed out there.

I never thought Allegra would be as good at picking out dresses but she is.

Larry asked me what the dress looked like, I told him that I had a hard time decideing between Dress three and four. "Three and four? That doesn't tell me anything!" Like I would tell him what my dress looked like.

I had a hard time deciding if David should walk me down the aisle, in the end it was Penny who walked in front of me. She said she wanted to make sure everyone was watching me walk down the aisle.

I always knew that Larry had swept me off my feet, but on our wedding day he really did.

Who knew I would be so happy to be married with a family. I don't think I've ever been this happy before.

What a wonderful family I have. We're going to have this photo put up on the wall at home.

Larry and I thought about having a honeymoon just the two of us but it just didn't seem right and Penny REALLY wanted to go to the beach. So to the beach we went.

Larry booked us into one of the nicer hotels on the island. A lot different fromt the last time I had been here during spring break.

I headed straight for the beach to work on my tan.

Larry and Penny headed straight for the water.

When the two water babies got hungry they came to get me so we could go for dinner.

We headed to the boardwalk for dinner. It was a nice relaxing way to spend the evening.

I had forgotten how amazing watching the fire dancers was. I think Penny and Larry really enjoyed it too.

The next day we headed to the south beach and the priate ship. We spend the whole day there. I got a little more sun while the other two played pirates.

It was getting dark before I could drag Larry and Penny away from the Pirate ship.

We went back to the hotel for dinner that night. Of all the things she could have for dinner all Penny wanted was spaghettie, she always want spaghetti.

It was a late dinner but a really nice way to end the day.

Penny and I where more tired than we realized. Larry let us sleep in that morning.

Then we went to the spa to relax for the day. I love the hot springs.

Penny found lots to do with the locals happy to talk to her.

When we got back to the hotel we left Penny making sandcastles on the beach.

We thought we would get a chance to have a little bit of a honeymoon.

Penny walked in at a very inopportune time. She was really grossed out.

Our last night on the beach we had dinner on the balcony of our room. Penny picked the menu... pancakes.

I woke up in the middle of the night starving hungry and grabed a snack from the all night kitchen.

It was hard to leave the wonderful holdiay we had. We will have to do another family vacation.

Back at home Penny kept going on about all the seashells she had brought back.

I consider myself to be a fun mother. I do spend time everyday playing with Penny... but Larry, he's just a big kid at heart.

He and Penny spend hours reading stories.

I don't think he's ever thought about having a son, not when Penny loves to throw a football around.

Penny is good about playing on her own as well.

Not long after we got home from vacation I found I was feeling nausea all the time.

It wasn't long before I was showing. Many years later I'm pregnant with our second child.

Penny is asking all sorts of questions about her coming sibling. She seems to think the baby will be like having a pet fish, I told her it's a bit different than that.

I've always been a fun loving person, when did I become the adult. I'm doing the gardening while the other two play!

We bought Penny a telescope to look at the stars. She would spend all night looking through it if she could.

Every night when I drag her in from the telescope she falls asleep almost before her head hits the pillow.

All too soon my little girl is having her birthday.

In the middle on Penny's birthday party I went into labor. Not quite the way I had planned things.

We've named our new little girl Jasmine. She brown eyes and blond hair.

Penny couldn't wait to hold her little sister. She didn't seem to mind that she now shared her birthday with her sister. She actually said it would make it all the better almost like they where twins.

When the family left that night they said it was one of the most special parties they had ever been too. My brother gave me a big hug. I haven't had a hug like that from him in years.
