Spring 2013: Miriam Nova, Justin Flylar, Loren Becker, Frederick Becker Addison Becker, Hannah Becker, Henry Pitts and Meadow Thayer are 21. Anthony Upsnott, Madison Mather, Brandon Becker, Tamara Newson and Diana Lind are 20. Jacob Flylar is 19.
As it was their last year for many of the University students from Chantilly they decided to go away for spring Break. The hotel they was over booked when they arrived so some of them had to go to anther hotel down the street, not quite as nice but no extra cost. It wasn't like they where going to be spending much time in the hotel anyway.
Not everyone wanted to go and see the ruins so the gang that did rushed off as soon as they got to the island, only Meadow had had the forsight to change into summer clothes at the airport before they got on the shuttle. Henry was particullarly uncomfortable in he shirt and trousers.
Meadow found herself alone at the fountain. She may have been alone but she was very peaceful and decided to make an offering. Everything with Henry had been going so well the past year and she wanted it to stay that way.
The others stayed back at their hotel to relax.
Frederick and Diana had a long heart to heart and decide they wanted to try and repair their relationship but they where not going to do anything serious until Diana finished school in another year.
Only the first drink at the hotel was free and Henry took advantage of that when they got back from the ancient ruins.
Drinks were not a problem, Madison had found a store that sold beer while the others were at the ruins. There was lots to drink in their hotel room.
Most of the week was spent on the beach with all of the other University students that had come down for spring break.
Again there was plenty of beer to be had on the beach.
Henry found the fire pit and lit a campfire, similar to the time they had all spent on the beach at the end of High School
The gang spent a lot of the evening/night talking around the campfire and about how different things would be next year.
Most mornings started with the gang eating breakfast together. Though it wasn't unusually for one of them to be off at a table alone craming for some test or assignment.
The boys were often found playing pinball together.
The girls on the other hand had a preference for darts. Often however it was just Madison and Meadow playing.
Addison and Hannah were often found spending time in the hot tub while the other's where playing games.
Madison and Anthony still enjoyed the hottub as well. Not quite as much as Addison and Hannah.
It wouldn't be unusuall to find Henry playing pinball on his own, having been abandonded by Anthony.
Anthony was determined to have a clean bathroom and would go in and clean after the cleaning lady had already done her job. He just didn't think she did a good enough job on the showers.
When Anthony went off on one of his cleaning binges Madison would hide away in her room and read romance novels.
Henry and Meadow, now that they where a steady couple spent even more time together. The did everything together even studying even though they had no classes in common.
They decided to stick closer to home and only go to the coffee shop on campus.
Claire had decided to take a bit more time off so Daniel was more than happy to teach the Fall session at Chantilly Academy Lower school. The students were happy to see Daniel as well.
The playground will always be the favorite of the students.
Daniel found himself back into the routine and the kids though they would rather be somewhere else they were very well behaved.
Lunch time conversation was all about the new people they had met over the summer.
