Flylar: Ladies

Lily2.jpg Tara: The night I moved home was my parent’s birthday party. Mum looks as beautiful as ever with her silver hair.

EthanElder1.jpg Dad stepped out of the carpool form work and changed to an elder right there on the street.

Getting to know EthanGetting to Know Lily

The party was a great time for Abigail and my parents to get to know each other better. I was a little worried that Mum and Dad wouldn't be so keen on the two of us getting married but they seem to have taken to Abigail. Though I'm not sure how Dad is going to feel about being the only male in a house of ladies.

Church.jpgWe decided not to have the wedding at home but rather at the local church with a few friends and family.

Married.jpg

Abigail was so beautiful that night, I can’t believe we’re actually married now. I can’t think of a more perfect night.

Party.jpgThere was lot’s of champagne that night, I’m sure I got more than a little tipsy.

TalkofChildren

Over breakfast one morning Abigail and I talked about having children, I always thought we would have to adopt. Abigail had heard about a new procedure they were offering at Chantilly Medical Center. They would be able to get one of us pregnant with a child of both our DNA.

Clinic.jpgLater that week found Abigail and I at Chantilly Medical Center ready to get Abigail pregnant with our child. It was an easy decision as to who would carry the child, it wasn’t anything I ever really wanted to go through and Abigail always wanted to go through the whole pregnancy experience.

Resting.jpgAfter the procedure was done Dr Harris told Abigail that she would have to rest at the clinic the rest of the day and take it easy for the next 24 hours. I can’t believe how easy Dr Harris made everything seem.

NoLongerPuppies.jpg

My grandmother seemed to have taken over the care of the dog’s when Coco and Guss grew up from puppies.

Pregnant.jpg

It wasn’t long till we knew for sure that Abigail was pregnant. I never realized how fascinated I would be with her baby bump. I can’t stop talking to our baby and rubbing Abigail’s tummy.

WorkOut.jpg

With Abigail pregnant I started thinking about having to keep up with a little one in the house and realized that I would need to get into better shape or I was sunk. Every chance I got I was on the stationary bike working out.

Justin.jpg

Soon enough we welcomed Justin into our family. He’s just so adorable I never realized how much I would love being a mother. Abigail is wonderful with our little boy. He has the Flylar colouring, blue eyes and blond hair. Dad is thrilled as he is no longer the only male in the house.

Retirement.jpg

With a little one in the house my grandmother has finally decided it was time to retire. She says she would rather spend time with the dogs and Justin anyway.

GreatGran.jpg

Gran loves spending time with her Great-grandson even if it is to change his diaper.

GetAJob.jpg

Knowing that we won’t need to rely on a nanny Abigail has decided it is time to get into the workforce. She love spending time with Justin but I think she misses the adult interaction that she will get from work.

MeettheGrandParents

Abigail’s parents are often over to see their first grandchild. They really are a pair of big kids but I guess that will be great for Justin when he get’s a little older.

FriendsWithMarisa.jpg

Abigail and my Grandmother seem to get along really well. On her day’s off when Justin is sleeping one will often find the two of them playing video games. I’m so glad my family has taken to Abigail, I don’t know what I would have done if they didn’t.

Reading.jpg

With the families help both Abigail and I are able to have a little time to ourselves. Abigail has always loved a good book.

ToTheOtherSide.jpg

Only my Mum and Abigail where home when Grim came for my Gran. They said she seemed so happy to be going over to the other side. I guess she’ll get to see Eric again… not just the ghost that likes to go around scaring people and complaining about the bed.

Graves.jpg There are now two graves in the back yard, the first generation and founders of Chantilly are all now gone. I don’t know what we’re going to do without Gran.

NewParents.jpg

I’m just glad that Gran was able to meet Justin and play with him before she died. He has become such a joy to have around and makes the sadness of her passing a little easier to deal with.

aw *waves bye to the Gran lady*
well lets hope he gets a good aspiration when he transitions... being an heir is a big responsibility on his tiny shoulders
